Elaine Yi Ling Chiang is a London-based scenographer, performance and production designer from Taipei, Taiwan. After studying her BFA in theatre design and technology at Taipei National University of the Arts in 2020, she worked professionally as a designer and creator in both theatre and film industry for years, currently finished her MFA degree in Scenography.  

Her recent artistic practice revolves around auto-ethnographic, cultural identity, topography, and tracing social boundaries through the method of drawing, mapping and movement sketches. From that, expanding the originality of space and capturing dynamics of characters, experimenting with materials, texture and sound as a visual storyteller.
